The morning ritual

What are your morning rituals? What does the first hour of your day look like?

This one depends heavily on which day it is…

On normal weekdays, it looks like this:
Alarm shouts out at 06.15, too tired to get up, snooze the alarm until around 6.30am. Depending on when I got to bed the night before, I will either be a bit slow, or super quick. Headig over to the bathroom to brush my teeth, and step on the weight, yes I measure because I am a stats addict and the scale automatically sends my data to Garmin. After that is done, I just find some comfy clothes to jump into, I usually wear the same clothes 1-3 days, so this is just done a couple of times during weekdays. After that I pack my bag, depending on which day it is, I have gym on Monday, Wednsday and Friday, so if it is a gym day, I have to pack my gym clothes. After that, I run out to catch either the 07.07 bus or the 07.17 bus, given that I woke up at the right time.

On weekends, it looks like this:

No alarm to wake me up, I wake up when I wake up, unless I have something scheduled. I tend to try to avoid having things scheduled in weekends, for my own mental health. I can wake up early, and either do one out of two options: 1. Get up or 2. Sleep longer. A luxury I love to have!
After I get up, I put on some comfy clothes, and start making some coffee and breakfast, usually some slices of bread, or oatmeal. From there on, I start my day.

And there you go, that’s usually my morning routine!
