What are you good at?
It is interesting everytime the app asks me questions about what I am good at, because honestly my first thought everytime is that I am good at nothing. But, I know that is not true, and I just now thought about something I proudly can say that I am good at, I am good at adapting and quickly make new plans.
This may be due to a long life having observed and being part of situations where plans have not gone as they originally were meant to be. Usually I learned a lot of this from my parents when we traveled, and I kept working on it when I became an adult myself. As mentioned earlier in the blog, I do not plan much, and the reason is exactly this. I go places, and make up a plan “in-the-now” based on both my own mood, the weather, and the possibilities given to me. That is usually how it goes, and if something goes wrong, then I just look around the place where I am and find something else to do.
I never thought of it as a skill, but after meeting a lot of peope seemingly unable to function and make new decisions when plans go wrong, I can now conclude with the fact that I do view this as a skill.
I am good at quickly adapting to situations!
That’s a powerful skill! Adapting on the fly takes presence, creativity, and resilience — qualities not everyone masters. It’s amazing how life’s twists shape us into flexible problem-solvers. Thanks for sharing this perspective! 🌟👏
