What is your favorite type of weather?
Wow, to be honest, this is quite the question. I wish to say both sun and rain.
Allora, coming from Norway, I am sadly not someone who loves the snow. Winter is beautiful, but I would be happy to have it just a couple of weeks per year rather than the five or so months that we realistically have it. All weather types related to coldness and snowflakes are sadly off the list immediately. I sometimes ask myself why I do not move to another place, however, I never seem to find a clear answer to that.
I am looking forward to reading what the others write about this prompt, but for me, it would be a sunny day, most of the days. I guess most people enjoy a good sunny day.
However, it is a matter of balance, I know if I could have the sun all days of the year, I would go bananas. You see, sometimes I need to seek shelter, just close the doors and stay inside the house for the entire day. The rainy days are perfect for that. In Norway, we have a word named “Hygge” which is a description of a certain mood. I find that mood mostly on rainy days, staying indoors, watching the rain pouring down, putting on some relaxing music, lying on the sofa with a good book, or just lying there in general. To me, those moments are very important to have.

In Norway, our super sunny warm days are sometimes quite limited, and honestly, sometimes they do not even occur throughout the year. So, whenever the sun shines and you can feel that it is warm outside, I get the urge to go outside. Even for days when I do not feel like going outside at all, you just “have to”, because you never know when or if a day like that comes again. You can ask any Norwegian, or Scandinavian, and they will know of this concept.
A good example of this is today, today is such a day, the sun shines, and spring has come to Norway, finally after so many months of cold and dark days. Summer is coming, and I hope for more sunny days, it makes me feel alive in a whole new way.
Sunny, my answer is sunny!
