Ciao settembre!

Summer came and went

Summer has come, and already gone, and it left the mark of a heatwave. It wasn’t a super warm summer, but it seems all the heat of summer was concentrated into two weeks in July. I was about to buy myself an air conditioner, but luckily the heat vanished before I managed to spend the money.

I try to remember some summer highlights, but I do think my memory is damaged because I really can’t remember anything super special. Wait, my trips home, they were so nice and relaxing. Nothing beats going home to my parents to relax, the countryside, a farm and lots of nature, perfetto!

Enter autumn

Allora, now it is September and we have started the autumn season. Autumn is one of my favorite seasons, honestly, I like all the seasons except winter (why do I live in Norway?). The leaves change colors, the temperature drops a bit, hopefully not too much too quickly, and we get these cozy nights. During spring and summer in Norway, the sun is up quite a long time, and I am not really a fan of that, I prefer when it gets dark around 7pm, since then it is natural to settle down home and prepare for the night.

As a Norwegian, as long as the sun is shining, I get the urge to go out and do stuff, even though I am tired. I do not like this trait, but I have had it all my life, I literally feel bad if I remain inside when it looks nice outside. Anyhow, this problem is slowly disappearing now that we go into the Autumn season.

Plans?

My plans for September are set to focus on health, and getting things done, and trying to adapt to getting more organized. You see, I recently started to use a calendar and notes. I have lived most of my life without using a calendar, and it has kind of worked. Although sometimes I have forgotten stuff, but now that I want to get some more focus, I decided to start using a calendar. So, this is a test project until October, the key phrase for this project is: Wake me up, when September ends.

Anyways, I hope you had a good summer, and that you will have a nice September, thank you for following my blog, and stay tuned for the next post!

Ci vediamo!
